The National Cancer Institute predicts that 34.8% of men and women will be diagnosed with cancer during their lifetime¹. For many of our lab members, the fight against all cancers is personal.

Our professionalism and our responsibilities as scientific researchers are in earnest, and are paired alongside with our moral obligations as humans. We fight against pancreatic cancer as daughters and sons and neighbors and friends and mentors. We support each other beyond the laboratory, hold high ethical standards, and stay focused on our goal of not only contributing to the scientific community in meaningful ways, but by changing patients’ lives for the better.
